Meet Our Teachers


Courtney Josh - Producer/Director

Performing since a young age, Courtney started off as a karaoke queen and then found her way onto the stage. She is now a full-time musician, teaching musical theatre and private singing lessons during the week, and gigging on the weekends.

Her musical theatre debut was Hairspray with The Regal’s (2015). She then moved to behind the scenes work when she became Musical Director for Reefer Madness with Rockdale Musical Society (2016). In 2018 she performed in Engadine’s We Will Rock You - which she claims was the most challenging performance yet, being thrown into a lead role the day of opening night. In 2018 she also found herself in her first lead role playing Sherrie for Regal’s Rock Of Ages. Courtney also directed The Regal’s 2019 junior show - Cats Abridged Edition. In 2020 Courtney found herself in two musical’s with Miranda Musical Society, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and Priscilla: Queen Of The Desert both of which were postponed due to COVID-19.

Courtney began singing and performing at a young age, having always been eager to turn her passion into her profession. Courtney has been teaching since 2011, with private/group singing lessons, musical theatre classes, acting workshops and forming her own business in 2013. Courtney has completed several cruise ship contracts, toured Australia with her original band, and continues to perform on a regular basis, at corporate functions, events around Australia and in theatre. Courtney crafted BC Performing Arts to offer a range of services in entertainment, and teaching will continue to be a strong focus of BC Performing Arts, as she aims to inspire and build confidence and knowledge in young performers. Courtney created a musical theatre program, designed to help young performers at different levels and build or enhance their skills in theatre.



DARCY O’LOUGHLIN - Musical Theatre Coach



Darcy has grown up in the performing arts industry. Performing leading roles in South Eastern Musicals productions including “Glinda” in Wicked and The Wizard Of Oz, “Tess” in Camp Rock 2 and “Elle Woods” in Legally Blonde. She has been trained by elite industry professionals including Patricia Amphlette for singing and Darren Disney an original Tap Dog for dance. She then went on and progressed her training and completed a Diploma of Musical Theatre at Brent Street Studios where she travelled over to Los Angeles and New York. In 2018 she completed a Bachelor of Entertainment Business Management at JMC Collage. Darcy has been teaching musical theatre, private singing and dance lessons for over 7 years and has such a strong passion to see their hard work come to life on stage.
